Who we are
Vive Salon & Spa is a full-service hair salon, nail salon, and day spa on Jalan Monkey Forest, in the center of Ubud, Bali. We have been here for more than fifteen years, long before much of what surrounds us today, and we have grown into one of Ubud's most established names in hair, nails, and skin.
We are, simply, the grown-up salon. Not a pop-up, not a studio chasing the trend of the season, and not a place that will sell you something you do not need. We are a proper salon with a spacious, comfortable setting, a team of long-tenured specialists, and standards that have not slipped in over a decade.
Many of our clients have been coming to us for years, some since the very beginning. Others find us on their first trip to Bali and come back every time they return. What keeps them coming back is not a gimmick. It is the feeling of being looked after properly.
Genuine imported products
We use authentic products imported directly from the United States and other trusted international suppliers, never cheap substitutes. From OPI Lacquer and CND Shellac on your nails to SkinMedica on your skin, what we use on you is the real thing.
Specialists, not stand-ins
Our team has been with us for years, not weeks. Color, cutting, nails, lashes, brows, and skin are each handled by people who do that work every day and have earned the trust of clients who return for them by name.
We do not chase trends
We choose techniques and products based on what is safe, healthy, and lasting, not what is loud on social media this month. If something is not right for your hair, your nails, or your skin, we will tell you honestly.
Care and hygiene
Cleanliness is not negotiable here. Tools are sterilized in sealed pouches and opened in front of you, and every service is carried out with the care we would want for ourselves.
If you are ever not happy with a service, bring it back to us within reason and we will make it right, free. No questions, no fee. It is how we have always done things, and it is the difference between a salon that takes your money and one that takes responsibility.
What we believe
We believe a salon should be a place you can trust completely. That means honest advice before a service, careful hands during it, and accountability after it. It means using products you could look up and verify. It means treating a returning client and a first-time visitor with exactly the same care.
